Recap for those who missed it!

Some say there's nothing that likes to rest more than a Mexican Dog, uno perro.

While our Dogs are resting, perro style, I thought I'd post one more time to explain what happened in the last hours of the race, because there was a lot going on and everyone's sat phones got shuffled.

Rich had a problem with the bike, and pulled into Honda Pit 22, 50 miles from the finish. He had no phone, so he sent three messages with SPOT. OK - Help - Help. John Brickley and David Deveau were very close to the turn to Pit 22, so they went up there, David taking off on a bike once they got close to Rich, and the going got rough. Once he got there, we had a satphone on the site, and could communicate. The time from Rich signalling help, until David got there was about an hour!

Eventually Brickley made it to the pit, too. Meanwhile two other chase trucks were staging at the next road access to the course past this point. Froman was in this group, and they were in touch via phone, too.

Once David got to Rich with the satphone, they were all over the organization and the repair. Brickley eventually got his Dodge Truck in there with more parts, and the three of them eventually got the 408 bike working, and David and Rich rode together to the finish line. Brickley drove back out in the Dodge and met them in Cabo.

So now there's nothing for a Dirt Dog to do but rest. Manyana, dude.
