Day before the Race!

I've spoken to Callagy, Froman and Deveau today on the phone.

All are on board with the following:

1. More info is better. Chase trucks to be updated at least once per hour, friends and family once every two hours.

2. The "I'm OK" button will be used occasionally, esp at checkpoints and rider changes.

3. For SPOT, Lithium batteries are a must and Froman knows this.

4. We did a test of the "trouble" button today, and it went well.

5. In the morning, pre-start, Froman will start the SPOT device, this will be 4:30AM or so. SPOT will log in on the website. At this time all chase trucks should receive the message: Navigation team has seen SPOT initialize pre start - Everything is good! Froman and all others will then know the SPOT is working.

6. The team is nervous, tired and a little worried. They underestimated the amount of time it would take to pre-run the course. They are resting and they will be ready to race! Froman did not stack the bike during pre-run!
