I sure hope that nobody on the DirtDog Team are superstitious, or think that I jinxed the effort, as the post I made with the picture titled ..."The End......." was NOT what I was referring to although that location was very close to the end of the HONDA motor...

They are going to ride it out!

Dave and Rich plan to turn the blown bike over to Honda, who made it in the first place!

Then they are going to ride the last 50 miles of the course to Cabo.

They'll call you with details if necessary.

3:46PM Just spoke with Rich.

He is in Honda Pit 22 with a blown engine.

David Deveau did make it in to him with a satphone, so they are arranging their own rescue. They have the phone ending in 51 - send them a text message at iridium.com

This is the Roadmap around Honda Pit 22, where we think Rich has been stopped for almost one hour. David Deveau will be there real soon, after driving Chase #4 to Checkpoint 10 and going in on a bike.
